Shubh Darshika ("we", "our", "the site") is a free Marathi panchang and calendar website at shubhdarshika.in. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it is used.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number directly. Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics may automatically record standard technical information — such as your browser type, device, approximate region, and the pages you visit — to keep the site running and understand how it is used.

Cookies and advertising

This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Analytics, crash reporting and performance monitoring

To keep the app stable, fast and useful, we use the following Google Firebase services. These tools collect data automatically while you use the app:

• Firebase Crashlytics — records crash and error reports so we can fix problems. This includes diagnostic information such as the type of crash, your device model, operating-system version, and the app's state at the time of the crash.
• Google Analytics for Firebase — measures how the app is used (for example, which screens and features are opened, and how often the app is launched) so we can improve it. This includes app-interaction events, a unique app-instance identifier, and an approximate location derived from your IP address (typically only your country or region).
• Firebase Performance Monitoring — measures app performance, such as start-up time, screen rendering, and the response time of network requests.

These services are provided by Google, and the data is processed by Google on our behalf; Google may also process it under its own terms. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

The analytics service may also collect your device's Advertising ID. You can reset or limit it at any time from your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

Data retention. Crash and performance data is retained for about 90 days. Analytics data is retained for up to 2 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Your choices. You can limit ad-related identifiers from your device's Google settings.

Some festival and panchang pages link to external sources for further reading. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external websites.

Children's privacy

The site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
