Putrada Ekadashi clarification
On Sunday, 23 August, Ekadashi ends at 4:18 past midnight, while the next day Dwadashi ends at 6:20 past midnight. On 25 August, in all regions where sunrise occurs before 6:20 in the morning, Dwadashi tithi is extended; so Putrada Smarta Ekadashi falls on the Ekadashi day, i.e. 23 August, and Putrada Bhagwat Ekadashi on 24 August. In places where sunrise on the 25th occurs after 6:20 in the morning, Trayodashi tithi is extended, so there will be a single Ekadashi on 23 August.

In Maharashtra: Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Dapoli and the entire Konkan; all of Goa; and Surat, Rajkot, Junagadh etc. in Gujarat.

All of Maharashtra except Mumbai and the Konkan coast, all of Karnataka, and Ahmedabad, Vadodara and all regions to their east in Gujarat, etc.
